With the digital becoming a common language of both design and production, architecture is afforded an ability to engage with the means of manufacture directly and implicitly. As the tools of design become conditioned by the processes of fabrication, there is a potential for architecture to become tailored rather than intended, to be able to react with speed to site forces and directly augment an urban system at multiple levels.

Peckham Experiment#02 will investigate the complex and fluctuating rhythms of various existing social, material and environmental operations occurring in and around Rye Lane. It will speculate on an architecture that will celebrate, synchronise with, and choreograph a number of these operations to become integrated within, and integral to, a modified urban system.
