This animation explores the techniques available within blender to divide objects and surfaces up and shatter/explode them using multiple levels of manipulation.

The following example is a gradual explosion with no gravity but using physical forces.

The animation was rendered in Blender using PNG's and then combining them into h.264 format within the video editing aspect of the program.
